In, "Seggsual Content" we see a giant woman, dressed seductively, easing her way between the arches of a broken stone bridge. All the townfolk, including the mayor and his wife have come to witness this event. (How could you not?) Noone is looking away and yet, there seems to be judgement involved. The giant woman barely even fits through the arches of the bridge, perhaps gently brushing up against the cold stone walls as she eases her way through the river.
This is a limited edition (of 40 total) by Ed Gendron. When they're gone - they're just gone, that's it. This image originated in a found, vintage, B/W photo... but it has certainly become something else. This photo was (quite obviously) reworked and hand colored. This picture is part of my absurdist series. I loved the idea of finding a box of vintage photos from some other reality or universe. All prints are archival prints, and signed by myself, for authenticity. This edition is limited to 45 prints. The paper is acid-free, smooth, and archival (photo matte and 105 gsm). Prints are printed in my studio in New Haven, CT.
