I documented War Reenactors for several years and I loosely refer to this work, as
"the Reenactor Project".
My humanities-focussed, audio-visual talk is roughly 45 minutes to an hour
with an additional Question & Answer session at the end.
This presentation focuses on my documentary photography. (see more on this page)
In it, I discuss the nuances of this odd little subculture as well how it reflects on us as humans. Oddly, the most dangerous qualities and the most beautiful qualities of human beings, both emanate from the same place. The men and women who reenact, assert that "history is a personal thing". And, for them, it may be quite true.
